Carterton’s Warm Spaces
Local groups that can offer a warm space. Please note some groups make a small charge for refreshments.
Tuesday at Carterton Library Stay & Play. Toys for toddlers and board games for older children & Thursday Lego Club both from 3.30pm (during term time).
Tuesday at the Family Centre 3.30pm – 5.30pm (during term time). TeaTime Club for lone parent families. Activities and a home cooked meal provided. Open to civilian and military families.
Tuesday at the Methodist Church 11.00am -2.00pm serving soup and Toast.
Wednesday at St Joseph’s Church 10.00am Drop in Coffee Morning – all welcome.
Wednesday (commencing 22nd November) at Carterton Community Centre 2.00pm – 5.00pm run by Carterton Food Angels. Warm food served including hot beverages plus cold drinks and cakes. No charge but donations appreciated.
3rd Wednesday of the month at the Methodist Church. 10.30am – 12.00pm Community Drop in Coffee morning – drop in for free coffee and biscuits.
1st & 3rd Wednesday (November – March) at St John’s Church. 10.30am-12.30pm. Warm Space/Soup Lunch- no charge. Come in for a cuppa and a chat with soup being served at 12.00pm.
1st, 2nd & 3rd Thursday of the month at the WI Hall. 10.00am – midday. WI Community Coffee Shop. A warm and cosy atmosphere for the price of a drink and or a slice of homemade cake served by WI Members.
2nd Thursday of the month at the Town Hall. 12.00pm-1.30pm. Seniors Lunch Club come and enjoy free soup and a roll and hot drink.
Last Thursday of the month at the Methodist Church. 12.00pm-2.15pm
Community Lunch. A free two course hot meal. Note – you need to book in advance. hello@cartertonfoodbank.co.uk
Weekly at the Town Hall, Carterton Community Food Bank (check their Facebook page CartertonCommunityFb for days and times). No charge – come and enjoy cakes, biscuits, and a chat.
