Exercise Classes for Older People : 11.00-12.00 noon Edit 
  Chair-based exercise classes starting on 6th October 2009 at Carterton Community Centre and every Tuesday thereafter, 11.00 to 12.00 noon. Contact Vivien Godfrey on 01367 860498.  
 

Town Council Meetings Cancelled : Edit 
  Due to weather conditions, the Planning and Town Council meetings due to be held this evening have been postponed until next Tuesday, 12 January 2010.

Tai Chi for the Over 50s : 1.00-2.00 p.m. Edit 
  Tai Chi classes for the over 50s at the WI Hall, Brize Norton Road, Carterton, commencing 5th November, 1-2 pm. £3.00 per session. Contact Ruth Swift on 07827 235461 or Brenda Longmuir on 07827 235428, for further information.

Planning & Recreation Committees : 1.15 & 1.30 p.m. Edit 
  The January Planning & Recreation Committee Meetings have been rescheduled for Tuesday, 12th January, 2010 commencing at 1.15 p.m. for Planning and 1.30 p.m. for Recreation, at the Town Hall in Alvescot Road, Carterton.

  Come and join others at the Social Centre, Brownes Lane, Carterton, in singing your favourite songs/hymns and show tunes. The class will be run by Rachel Smith, a qualified music tutor. £2.50 per session. For more information please contact Ruth Swift on 07827 354561.

Christmas Tree Chipping AMENDED DATE : 10 am - 3 pm Edit 
  West Oxfordshire District Council are holding a Christmas tree chipping session on Sunday 17th January 2010 (please note amended date), 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m., in the car park behind the Somerfield supermarket. All trees welcome!

Planning & Town Council Meetings : 7.30 p.m. Edit 
  The Town Councils Planning Committee will meet on Tuesday 19 January 2010 at 7.30 p.m., followed by the Town Council meeting at 7.45 p.m. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.  
 

YOUR DANCE! : 3.30 - 5.00 p.m. Edit 
  A new youth dance project is coming to Carterton, aimed at 10-14 year olds. There will be two free Taster Sessions, this one being at the Allandale Youth Centre, Carterton, on Tuesday 19th January, 3.30 pm - 5.00pm.  
 

YOUR DANCE! : 4.00-5.30 p.m. Edit

Small Animal Week at Blue Cross Centre : 11am-4pm Edit | More Detail
  Discover so much more about small animals! Find out facts about rats, what degus love to chew and what guinea pigs noises mean. Join in the fun activities at the centre or adopt one of the many small animals needing a home, we have 24 degus desperate to find new owners!
