  Chair-based exercise classes starting on 6th October 2009 at Carterton Community Centre and every Tuesday thereafter, 11.00 to 12.00 noon. Contact Vivien Godfrey on 01367 860498.

Tai Chi for the Over 50s : 1.00-2.00 p.m. Edit 
  Tai Chi classes for the over 50s at the WI Hall, Brize Norton Road, Carterton, commencing 5th November, 1-2 pm. £3.00 per session. Contact Ruth Swift on 07827 235461 or Brenda Longmuir on 07827 235428, for further information.

  Come and join others at the Social Centre, Brownes Lane, Carterton, in singing your favourite songs/hymns and show tunes. The class will be run by Rachel Smith, a qualified music tutor. £2.50 per session. For more information please contact Ruth Swift on 07827 354561.

  A public consultation will be held today at the Carterton Town Hall between 3pm and 7.30pm concerning the future development of Carterton. District Council Planners will be on hand to answer queries. Please come along and have your say.

  Carterton Lions present \'Carterton Arts Exhibition\' at The Carterton Community Centre, Trefoil Way,Shilton Park from Wednesday 17/2/10 to Sunday 21/2/10. Come and see the work of local artists. Some will be for sale and entry is free.

  The local branch of Save the Children Fund are holding a MASSIVE second hand book sale at Carterton Community College. There will be hundreds and hundreds of second hand books, including reference, fiction, teenage and childrens. So please come along and support your local charity. All profits will go to Save The Children Fund.
