  Chair-based exercise classes starting on 6th October 2009 at Carterton Community Centre and every Tuesday thereafter, 11.00 to 12.00 noon. Contact Vivien Godfrey on 01367 860498.  
 

Planning & Administration Committees : 7.30 p.m. Edit 
  The next meeting of the Planning Committee will take place on Tuesday 2nd March 2010 at the Town Hall in Alvescot Road. This will be followed by the Administration Committee at 7.45 p.m. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend

Singing for Fun! : 4.00 - 5.00 pm Edit 
  Come and join others at the Social Centre, Brownes Lane, Carterton, in singing your favourite songs/hymns and show tunes. The class will be run by Rachel Smith, a qualified music tutor. £2.50 per session. For more information please contact Ruth Swift on 07827 354561.

Poverty Kills Childhood Seminar : 1.30 - 4.30 Edit 
  Carterton, Witney and District Branch of Save the Children are hosting a speakers event in Carterton on Saturday 13th March 2010. The purpose of the afternoon is to publicise the Save the Children manifesto on Child Poverty: Poverty kills Childhood. There will be speakers from Save the Children Fund on Poverty at home and abroad. There will also be a short film on the Save the Children Fund emergency response to the Haiti disaster. Prospective parliamentary candidates from the Conservative, Labour, Liberal and UKIP parties have all been invited to attend to give a 5 minute presentation on their partys policy on Child Poverty, followed by a Q & A session. The event starts at 1.30 pm when refreshments will be available. The speakers begin at 2pm, and should all be finished by 4pm. The event is being held in the Carterton Community College Drama Studio, Upavon Way, Carterton OX18 1BU Anyone who would like to attend would be most welcome!!

  Go Active are hosting the Sport Relief mile this year at Heythrop Park, Enstone, Nr Chipping Norton. Enrol now at www sportrelief.com. Adults £5 Children £2 or Family £12.
