The Carterton Lions Club

Date Chartered: October 1985 (Incorporating Registered Charity Account No: 1021741)

Meeting Place: Carterton Manor, Corbett Road

Meeting Date and Time: 1st Tuesday of the month (Business Meeting), 8pm

The Carterton Lions Club currently consists of 22 members and is a mixed club - five lady members so far!

We meet on the 1st Tuesday of the month for a business meeting in the best tradition of Lionism, it is often chaotic but lots of fun. Social gatherings are planned regularly, including meals out, visits to the theatre and holiday excursions abroad. Visitors are welcome.

Our main aims are to support the local community with money raised by our various fundraising efforts, and to help all branches of the local community in need through our Welfare Committee. In a typical year, around £5,000 is disbursed in grants into the local community.
